base64 images

Hi

I converted a whole of images to base64 and everything works fine,

Now, I copied one of the files to another folder in order to work on it with a different stylesheet and the images don’t appear even after writing out the absolute url.
It’s been a while since I converted the base 64 images and cannot remember if there is a tiny empty image present in the server that is needed.

what happened to the images?

Any ideas?

Could it be that a base64 image can only reside in one place at a time?..
