Hello, i like to use underscore.me as a base for my wp themes.
Could you recommend a similar drupal base theme?
I saw one called skeletontheme i believe is that a good favorite. Any others recommended?

Last time I worked on a Drupal project Omega was used as the parent theme. Omega has much to offer if you’re willing to take the time to understand it.

Second Omega. Zen is also an excellent base theme. Mothership is pretty barebones: https://www.drupal.org/node/1536448
Maybe now is a great time to make your own theme? Have you considered doing this?

Well… @Wolf_22 once i get past the basics and essentials…mabye! Just started looking at drupal, but thank you for the encouragement 
Hey, I totally understand. Learn at the pace you’re comfortable with but don’t be afraid of jumping into a deeper end, too. Sometimes that’s one of the best ways to learn.
I think it would be more of a challenge to theme a site on top of Omega than it would be to start from scratch. Omega uses a lot of advanced concepts and can be tricky to understand if you’re not familiar with them all. Where as starting from scratch no real advanced concepts or integrations with third parties are in play. An example of which is drush, sass, susy, breakpoint, panels, etc integration.
Though I’m always skeptical of community projects that haven’t had a release in nearly a year but it looks like there is a disclaimer so I think the project is far from dying.
