what is a good free tool to accurate to report the backlinks?
i got one site that says a certain site has 160,000 baclinks and another one gives me 0 backlinks. please advise!

If you’re using FF there’s plenty of SEO toolbars and plugins that will handle this for you. I use the SEO Quake toolbar frequently for stuff like this.
I use backlink watch to check my backlinks.Try it.
