Background Video Is Not Playing On Mobile Devices

Hello,

On the website linked below I have added a video background to the page’s main header. However, it does not appear to work on any mobile device that I have tried. These are iOS Devices with Chrome, Firefox & Safari. Can anyone tell me why this is? Is this something I can fix?

I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure browsers deliberately inhibit auto playing of videos so as not to waste visitors’ bandwidth. It makes sense to me.
