Hi guys, I have an issue with the background color of my site. My site has an I frame with a transparent background. In safari and Firefox it works great, but in Explorer and Opera it turns white. I assume those browsers just don’t recognize the transparent default property of a blank html page that Firefox and safari do. It looks pretty dreadful as white and I would like to at least turn it black.
Does anyone know how to perhaps assign the Background a transparent property or at least a black property for Explorer?
Your page looks the same in Firefox and Opera to me, so I’m not quite sure what you are referring to. I also don’t see an iframe in there.
It’s better not to place a site over the top of an image and try to align with it. Ieally, have each aspect of the image—like the darker gray box—as a separate background on its won section. Maybe post a screen shot of what you are seeing, and identify which IE you are talking about, as there are 4 of them in common use, all very different.
Ah, I see the iframe. Iframes are quite outdated, really, so I wouldn’t be using it. Anyhow, to be honest, I’m still completely in the dark as to what the issue is. What’s shown in yur screen shot is what I see in my browser. Perhaps take a screen shot from a browser where you are seeing a problem.
Hm, quite weird, but Opera can be weird sometimes. It looks like you are using a very old version of Opera, though. Attached is what I see in the current version for Mac.
