ok Guys i need your honest input .

Ive enrolled at full sail university for the Bachelors degree in Web Design and development. Honestly am i wasting my time pursuing web design degree as where it could be self taught with a couple of books from “Barnes and Noble” or could this degree further enhance my knowledge considering i took "Web design " courses in high school.

If you have an eye for details, and a little effort of reading and searching the net for tips and tricks, then why bother taking the bachelors degree. else go take the degree.
Because there are some people i know who are good web designers yet they are not graduate of any web designing school. Its just a matter of learning and searching the net of tutorial and practice and a little patience. Any you’re going to become a good web designer sooner or later.

If you dont have a degree expect to be paid peanuts but also realise that your course will be out of date the minute you start.

I’d go for it and do a gap year in industry, get some private work under you and then you should be good to go.
