Augmented reality and website

Can we incorporate augmented reality with website? If yes, then which language and platform to use?
Thank You!

Hi ayushi_solanki welcome to the forum

Before I could even begin to suggest which language and platform might be best suited for the task, I’d need to have a better understanding of what the task is.

I know what a website is, and I have a vague understanding of what augmented reality is.

But I have no idea about what you have in mind to try and do.

Hi there! I was able to read your message and I’m willing pitch in my idea on this. For @Mittineague, augmented reality is a kind of display similar to the one you see in the famous Pokemon Go games… As for your question @ayushi_solanki, yes there is a way to incorporate augmented reality in a website. I came a across this WP app called NeoReality which allows you to transform your site into this. I have to inform you though, I haven’t tried using this yet. But I just thought of sharing this to you since this might help you…

@Mittineague I just want to start building webpages that will augment the surrounding (just as a beginner, no project in mind).

Do you mean something like this?
(if so, a search for “dynamic character and background animation” should help)
