Article writing and everyting nice

Hi Creative gods

How you peeps?

just some questions:

  1. I want to actively write some articles and post it on the web. What do you cover, because there are a billion of them written already?

  2. How to make a mark in the desing world and even in the company you work for?

  3. I’m not the web development kind, but it is where the money is, so I will force myself to it. How do you start appreciating and love all those attractive looking codes ? ;-(

Thanx peeps

Keep well

I think it has a certain air of credibility if you’ve written for established websites who are well known and respected for the content they have. Writing your own blog might not perhaps have as much punch (unless it’s successful) but I’ve only written for established pre-existing websites that are known within the web design and development community in general (well that and writing a book) so my experience towards how blogging is perceived is kinda limited

Hi,
Article and content writing just for money is of no use., Try to learn about your interest ares and then gather more information about the same. Then, you can start writing article as you have gathered good knowledge about the content and the interest topic. The area of interest which suits you most should be written by you in your articles.
Happy writing.

Thanx for the feedback AlexDawson, much appreciated. This is great, will look for some great articles to expand on.

When adding “online article writing” to your CV, do you think that is a good way to impress those future employers?

sounds great. So you don’t necessarily have to write something that might interest all the online people, as long as it interests you?

Damn ya right! Those codes will give me a headace. I’m highly creative, and I think coding will limit my talent on being creative. But, it sucks that coders make more money than designers! I also want to reap those moolah. I actually enjoy HTML and CSS, but can’t seem to fall in love with PHP etc :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanx for the feedback

I write about web design and development because it’s the area which interests me the most, sometimes I come up with something particularly unique but often the best ideas come from being inspired by the work of others. You don’t want to steal content but if you see someone cover an aspect which is interesting you can expand upon the idea and produce something totally unique which presents new ideas or solutions to existing problems and viewpoints. I find that browsing around the web I can discover a whole range of subjects which could use some extra discussion and thus I try to do that through writing some (hopefully) high quality content.

  1. You should cover the topics that interest you. What interests do you have? Are you passionate about a certain issue? If so, write about it.

  2. By working effectively and honing your skills, day in, day out.

  3. There is no way. If that is how you feel, do not waste a single minute on it. You cannot force yourself to like something. You’re bound to fail, because everyone who has an iota of passion will outperform you. Furthermore, you’ll be exhausted before you can say “this design sucks”.
