Are Square Logos odd?

The square logo looks boring and take a huge place on header. The one line logo is pretty impressive and looks attractive on web header…

There’s a big difference between correcting the grammar of a logo and totally rebranding the company - are you going to do the rebranding in their native language as well? How are you going to be sure you’ve translated it correctly?

You certainly can’t be thinking of providing a completely different logo for English speaking countries than for the client’s native tongue, are you? Completely different logo styles will most likely cause business issues for the client in the long run, and I’m hoping you’re going to be VERY cautious in attempting to rebrand a company with (as you’ve admitted) limited graphical skills.

Just because you don’t care for the style of the logo or doesn’t fit your aesthetic doesn’t mean it needs to be thrown out and re-done.

Sometimes I prefer the logo centered in the header, try centering both the logo and the navigation and you might like it laid out better that way. Also, no I don’t think square logos are odd. Many social networks require perfectly square profile icons and square logos look so much better in these spaces.

Also, there is nothing wrong with a little white space. Put a hellobar at the top, square logo centered, and then a centered nav.
