I was wondering do no follow backlinks actually help websites ranking on Google? Because some social media websites that I have used do not give a do follow link, but they are the top 10 found on Alexa. How do you find the best Do Follow links? And do we grab them off our competitors through SEO Backlink checker?

I’ve unlisted this topic, partly because both parts of your question have been answered in recent threads, but mainly because your inserted link makes it look as if link-dropping were your main purpose in posting here and your question is not genuine.
Google ignores nofollow backlinks (such as external links on this forum), so while you may gain traffic from them, they will not help SEO.
