Anyone know what ecommerce platform this site might use?

flowiestyle.com

Wondering what platform they are using. I realize much of the design probably comes from great css design.

I fear it’s magento, but I’m hoping there’s a simpler solution that I might be able to use in my website designs.

Also, anyone know of any simple shopping cart platforms that can be added to an already developed website? Something that I can simply add a banner at the top to create coesiveness and maybe change the colors, and then the client can just add in their products?

With the market I plan to target, the only thing that is needed in a shopping cart would be:

  1. Guest checkout
  2. Easily change Category headers (i.e. use a graphic for the word Category, Information, etc. This would be to make it easy for me to customize design.)
  3. Maybe a newsletter/mailing list function (but not necessary)
  4. Discount codes
  5. Paypal quick checkout
  6. Ability to set shipping rates without having to have an account with USPS, UPS or FedX. (and preferably be able to set shipping rate for each product, i.e. when adding a new product shipping can be set for just that product.)

Does more look like somethimg build in PHP or Coldfusion. And seeing your wishes that should be enough. But like Ralph said it’s a big responsibility. It all depends how you would like to handle the transactions?

Looks like they are using X-Cart. If you look under the hood, you can see it’s a yucky table layout, so nothing to aspire to here.

It’s a big responsibility to set up a shopping cart (security and all) so I’d suggest looking at 3rd part solutions, like FoxyCart, [URL=“http://www.shopify.com/”]Shopify or [URL=“http://www.e-junkie.com/”]Ejunkie.
