I have a multi-vendor marketplace setup via Magento. I was wondering if I’m missing something, or if you can’t actually assign categories to specific attribute sets. When a user wants to list a new product, they’re forced to go through every category; i.e. parent categories, categories of other non-related items, etc. Instead of only having to choose from say 4 categories that I’ve made available for that attribute set.
I’ve read their entire user guide, but can’t find anything about it… Was wondering if anybody here had experience with messing around with it.
