Animated Gif problem - max frames?

HI

does anyone know if there is a max number of frames for an animated gif? I have created one with just over 100 and it keeps on freezing /crashing?

The gif is for an offline presentation so bandwidth no problem.

You should Google this subject for best results. :wink:

Technically speaking? No. No limit.

Theoretically speaking? No. again, no limit.

However… the file itself may well be too complex for whatever viewer you’re using to watch it with. You may well do better to save/convert this animation to a AVI instead. Perhaps even a Flash movie file if you have the means for that.
