Hello,

The next example will explain exactly what I am asking for. A simple basic question:

I want to link my webpage from other sites using anchor text. My full anchor text is: “The Ocean is deep blue and cold”.

My Question:
Is the SEO value that I am getting for the term “Ocean deep” the same as the value for the whole anchor text?
In other words: Do I get the same link juice from any combination inside the phrase, or is it only the full matching search that gets the link juice?
This must be a begginers question but we all started from somewhere. :slight_smile:

You will be targeting any of the phrases contained within the entire link text, so yes you will also be targeting ‘Ocean Deep’.

I would recommend that you vary your anchor text though. Use variations of it and different words so it is not the same anchor text every time. The same text does not look natural and can help the search engines detect patterns in your link profile which could throw a flag.
