Amp Lite now with four additional image features

Google has recently introduced their new image optimisation features and since about 64% of a web page consists of images their automatic optimisation drastically improves rendering-all for free. Can it get any better

It is essential to stress that only valid web pages are cached and receive the additional optimisations.

These features will eliminate a vast amount of coding effort to achieve the same results!

  1. Removes unnecessary Exif information - does not affect image quality.
  2. Converts images to WebP format - only if browser compatible
  3. Automatic browser width detection and relevant SRCSET rendering.
  4. Using lower quality images under some circumstances - ideal for poor internet connections.
