[AMA] Animating with CSS with CSSAnimation.rocks Creator Donovan Hutchinson

No I’m afraid it doesn’t and has never supported it as far as I am aware. There are hacks as I mentioned above but they are always contrived although you can get some passable effects.

Hi Donovan,

I would like to begin with a heartfelt thanks for providing us with such a great course. It’s not often time I see something focused purely on animations with css. I’ve checked the outline and will be opting for the course real soon. Meanwhile, I just wanted to share that I have a few key issues with my css knowledge. There are certain gaps and things I’m not aware of and even though I can pull off some tricks by using box model, but I’m still not comfortable with it. So amid of all the outdated material in the past and highly dynamic stuff happening in the future, what should I do to improve my hold over css? Thanks for your time

Hey @mehroshh — thanks for the feedback on the course, it’s heartwarming to see people’s reaction to the courses on SitePoint! I’m (obviously) not Donovan, but I’m part of the SitePoint team.

Our HTML&CSS channel should help keep your skills up to date, and we’re always happy to answer questions and point you in the direction of other resources here on the forums. I also learn a ton of new things from our daily newsletter, Versioning (which is on break for February as the author is away, but will be back in a few weeks!). And, of course, Chris Coyier and the team at CSS Tricks do amazing things and share that knowledge broadly.
