Allow customer to "customise" a product?

Hi,

I’d like to allow Customers on my Shopping Cart to ‘customise’ a Product.

A bit like this site:
Customize your Tripp Trapp® - Stokke® United States
but not in Flash.

Does anyone know of any open source or premium shopping cart solutions that allow this?

You need only product color selector (with dynamic product image), or something more advanced like Stokke® (effects, top element selector, etc) ?

Thanks for the quick reply.

I need it setup so the customer can:

  1. Select a Product
  2. Select a Product Size
  3. Select a Product Colour
  4. Select multiple Product Accessories

All on the one page and it shows the finished product at the end based on the customers’ selections.

And ultimately a ‘Buy Now’ button which stores all this data.

Do you have a fair amount of programming experience? That sounds like a fair task that’ll require a good deal of experience. Depending on your system, you may want to find a developer to help you out with this.

Hey samanime.

I’m pretty happy using PHP and MySQL for this, but I just wanted to try keep costs down for the client.

Right now, I’m investigating the cost of tweaking an existing open source. Will report back :slight_smile:
