All the graphics not shown in Opera

I can’t figure out what is causing the problem. I have never seen this type of thing happen before.

There isn’t a problem with FF or IE7.

All the graphic files are coded as <img src=“graphics/beyond.jpg” width=“80” height=“80” alt=“”>

Every single one of them don’t display, but they are not reported as broken link.

Anyone?

Make sure you haven’t accidentally turned off images or set Opera to show cached images only. In 10.50, click the big ‘O’ and choose Page/Images and make sure it’s set to Show Images. I don’t remember exactly where it was in 10.10, but probably in the View menu.

I am using 10.5 and View -> Images -> Show Images.

I’ll have to keep digging.

Somehow, I managed to get red of the big red O and back to a more traditional look.

Do you have a working sample we can see?

I do, but I am still trying to figure it out on my own at the moment.

I have noticed that when I right-click menu on a missing graphic there is not the usual choices of saving the image file, etc. Must be something funky with Opera and the web server.

Also, I use a HTML file as my home page for Opera. None of the links are underlined even though that is not my choice.

Do you see the number 1024:637 in the title bar for Opera 10.5 ?

Check your content blocker to see that it’s not accidentally set to block content from your server.

That’s the window dimensions. I haven’t managed to set that in 10.50; it was something I really liked in 10.10 an earlier.

Window dimensions is opera:config#UserPrefs|ShowWindowSize and depending on your OS and OS theme you might need to check “show menu bar” (in the Opera menu) for it to show up.

Thanks, Simon. I thought so. I rather like the new 10.50 look without the menu bar, and I’ve reduced the space between the tabs and the top of the window to a minimum, so I guess I’ll have to learn to live without seeing the window size from now on.

Off Topic:

Any inside information on when the Linux version of 10.50 will be available? <gollum>I wants it!</gollum> :stuck_out_tongue:
