After motion tween, object disappears

this must be one of the most basic aspects of animating that i’m missing. after the animation is done, the object leaves the stage.

how do i keep it there because other things are going to happen after it?

i tried adding a keyframe afterwards but my results have varied. for starters i have to keep stretching the keyframe out to match whatever happens afterwards.

EDIT: if i am correct do you just hold down shift to extend the object farther?

Just add frames to the timeline layer to ensure the object is on the timeline and the stage.

so what’s the best way to keep it on the stage and timeline? what resource would you recommend me read or watch to hammer this relationship home?

(The majority of the time) if an object is on the timeline it’s on the stage.

I’d suggest your object is dropping off the timeline, which is why it’s missing from the stage.
