I’ve been running a site as a hobby for around 4 years, but I’m now struggling to make it worth my time as I run my own business and time is very precious to me. I’m therefore trying to turn my website into a profitable venture, obviously the more I can make the better - but I hope I can at least make enough to make it worth running!
My site gets around 10,000 uniques a Month and 125,000 pageviews (sometimes up to 150,000). These might seem low for advertising, but it’s a very niche website catering to collectors and fans of action figures from a popular television show - so in that respect the numbers seem quite high to me.
It must be noted that a forum is part of the website - contributing just over 1/3 of the visitors I would say.
So what, from your experiences, would be the best move forward for me? I think I need CPM style advertising, I don’t get the return on clicks due to the ratio betwee

I think when you have got such an ample amount of unique visitors then you should opt in to Google Adsense Program as well as different Affiliate Programs. This will help you earn some revenue. And trust me it is not at all time consuming.
If you have shortage of time you can hire a adsense & affiliate professionals for some time.
