I was just wondering whats the best solution for advertising for ajax based sites, especially if most of the content is being generated asynchronously without complete page refreshes? I currently using adsense - and I believe Google have an AJAX friendly version - does anyone know anything about this?
What’s your traffic like?
Some of the major ad networks will offer high trafficked ajaxified sites adcode (and ad inventory) that can be rotated on a timed refresh (every 2-3 minutes).
Do note that I am not saying you can auto-rotate ads in general. Some ad networks will provide you with special tags and ads allowed for this type of thing.
Best thing to do is just ask each network directly if they can offer you something.
Thanks for the response Masm50. Currently the traffic to my webapp (link in signature) is very low, mostly because its very new and I’m still heavily developing it.
