My client wants an instant chat app added to their website.

Any recommendations on free available chat apps?

I have looked at meebo but maybe there is something better?

Well it depends on your budget. If you’d like to get a free plugin there is one offered by Firefox (can’t find a link though). If you’re OK to spend some bucks on a really good add on, you may check this one
