Thank you very much.

Watch this video and see if it helps you understand a bit more of what I’m talking about.

That does bring up a good point.

What version of WordPress are you using?
What theme are you using?
Are you using the core menu API or a menu plugin?

ok_hornet’s instructions seem clear enough to me, then again I’ve been using WordPress for a while. But I do remember how it all seemed a bit overwhelming at first.

Did you poke around the ACP and try yet? I can take some screen shots if it will help.

My theme doesn’t support custom menus so I have to use the sidebar widget for them. But I have TwentyTen in my localhost test blog so I should see the same as you are seeing.

Found his site via [URL=“http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4698715#post4698715”]Sitepoint Post.

Looks like WP3 with the default Twenty Ten theme and no plugins.

rainy_hu, you haven’t created any other pages, so of course you’re only going to have the home & about page.

Also, there are links to your RSS feeds in the sidebar under meta.

If you want to have your categories listed in your top navigation, you’ll need to create a new menu in the admin area.

To do this, first log into your admin area. Next, under Appearance > Menu, name your menu, like “mainNav” or something, then click Create Menu.

Now, add two custom links: one will be your website’s URL and the other will be your fee URL, such as http://www.sitename.com/feed. After you enter the first url, click Add to Menu. Then enter your second URL and click add to menu.

Next, under Pages, check all the pages listed that you want added to your menu and click Add to Menu. Likewise, under Categories, click the “Select All” or individually check the categories you want to include and click Add to Menu.

Finally, check the box next to “Automatically add new top-level pages”. And rearrange your navigation into the order you want. Click Save Menu and you’re done!

Thank you very much.

But, I’m a new user, I didn’t completely understand what you said, so I thought if you can help me add the Categories to Menu, I will have a chance to study and practice, very grateful.

Sorry,I’ve written, but the administrator always deleted.

The theme is Twenty Ten 1.1 by the WordPress team,
I’m using WordPress 3.0.1.

The site is 0638.org

Please, please, please administrator do not to delete, thanks.

I didn’t completely understand what he was wanting, so I thought if I could see the site I might be able to decipher the need.

You don’t need a link to the site.

How would that help?

This is a general “how to use the ACP to add new menus” problem.

Sorry, do you have a link to your site so we can see it?
