I want to merge my values of the 1st form to that of the 2nd. Will it be possible to introduce this through contact form 7 plugin?
Have you tried Google to see if anybody else has also wanted to try this, and could not come up with a solution?
Also, that is probably the type of question that you could be asking of the Contact Form 7 developer. Have you checked out the support for that plugin? There is tons of information at WordPress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/), and that plugin also has its own website http://contactform7.com/.
For us to help with this, it would be useful for you to give us more specifics to work with, such as the two forms you wish to merge.
I have tried to find the solution of the persisting problem in most referrals but to no avail.
For instance, I am putting a specific data in the search bar present on the 1st page, and then clicking on the ‘get started’ option I am getting to the 2nd page with the address field already filled with the data I entered in the search box of the 1st page.
Okay. Thank you for the information. It makes it much easier to see exactly what needs to be done. That can probably be done fairly easily with some php code. I would put this code in your functions.php file - don’t touch the code of the Contact Form 7 plugin, or it will be overwritten the next time you update that plugin.
I don’t have time to do anything with this right now, but I will take a look at it later today after I finish my work. Hopefully someone else will be able to jump in before that to help you out.
Okay Thank You
While you are waiting for more responses, @convergentinfoware, why don’t you take a look at this plugin extension for Contact Form 7 and see if it does what you want: Contact Form 7 Dynamic Text Extension.
I will be playing with this a bit today, but I have some deadlines to deal with also.
Okay Thank you I will try this one.
