No, I don’t know what it is. It was given to me by a former mentor (frozentoast) whom made a number of similar ones at the time as there was a short craze for them. They did have a name but I can’t remember what they were called unfortunately. Perhaps it was a relation to the dodo.
A little late but a huge congrats to you, Ralph! You’ll do a brilliant job. That’s a given. 
I also wanted to take the opportunity say thanks to Paul for the times you have helped me directly (you have saved my skin more than once), but also for the many resources you have made available (such as the guide/code from the FAQ for making a sticky footer, which I am current using in a project).
