1websiteshostingpromotions.com close my account

Because I upload some flv files, they close my account.they say that’s your fault and close your account. Is every hosting company doing things like this?

you can tell me there’s no refund directly.I’m tired of playing word games

I can’t find that part. When do you refund me?
your TOS just like a word game,I don’t like such games

  1. Refund is allowed as per ToS/Aup. Please read ToS/AUP

  2. By discussing this issue on one way or another it is also a violation.

  3. We are not to comment on your renewal issue and not to comment on the standard of services.

  4. We did not copy/paste any review anywhere. In fact, we do not ask our clients to place reviews for us. We are in Industry for last 12 years and you will not find reviews about us except few, placed by customers their own. You have ful write to withdraw all the reviews, write whatsoever you want and at anywhere.

Best regards,

Actually, it isn’t common sense because it isn’t clear at all. It appears that you only offer 3 packages when you, in fact, offer 6 different packages.

At least put a heading somewhere in there to differentiate between all the packages.

OP’s hosting account is still active and he is allowed to backup the website before account is finally deleted.

A lot of good service and resources are provided under $10 but customers should not expect to rob and cheat the host.

Steven I suppose you violated their rules and that was the main reason of closing your web hosting account.

I don’t even see an option to purchase a “non streaming” package, as you call it.

Also, it is apparent that you do not allow LIVE streaming but you do allow pre-recorded AUDIO and VIDEO to be “streamed.” (See attached screenshot.)

However, it does not make sense since you have the following in the ToS:

Music & Video Files
Customer may not without permission have sound or video files in any format (MP3, ASX, ASF, RA, RAM , QTV , MPEG , AVI , WAV).

I’m not sure why you would advertise that you allow audio and video streaming only make the customer have to ask for permission to use an advertised service. Seems pretty ridiculous to me.

  1. As per ToS/AUP, customer HAS TO contact prior to upload streaming media.
  2. Streaming sites are allowed but only if packs with streaming are ordered.
  3. No, it is not - Basic Pack without streaming and Basic pack with streaming - both are different.

Thanks and regards.

honestly speaking, form last accident,I don’t want to renew my account at all.
what makes me renew my account is your service.I dare not to say your service is the best in the world,at least your service is better than Chinese hosting company.
I wouldn’t want to talk much about your hosting, but hosting with you I lose much.
BTW,I remember I give you a good review at the forum. One day I google your site,I find the same review at another forum.Your marketing guy(or you) copy my review and post on other forums.Do you ask me for permission?

if you insist on suspending my account,I want a full refund

The page which you have captured have 2 ‘order now’ links with each pack with 2 options each (monthly and yearly) - one below ‘clock’ feature and another below ‘libogg, libvorbis’.

You’re right, though it certainly managed to confuse me (and scannon) and possibly your customer as well.

  1. ‘Pre-permission’ condition is to check whether non-streaming customers are following the ToS or not and whether streaming customers are loading pre-recorded or live media.

Again, your TOS does not make that clear at all.

I’m not sure why you would advertise that you allow audio and video streaming only make the customer have to ask for permission to use an advertised service.

Perfect point.

I see nothing wrong with having conditions on service usage, but the manner in which this is done here can only cause confusion. Not only that, but if a customer decided to upload 2 files today, 3 tomorrow etc., is he supposed to have each and every file scrutinized by the host? That increases support costs, and it makes the usage of the streaming service quite cumbersome.

  1. Asking to change the DNS records is very common in shared hosting. How you know that others are not asked to change the DNS? And it is not your concern at all whom we ask to change DNS or whom to not. It is upto us to manage our servers and henceforth services and accounts.
  2. If you will not change DNS as per host’s request, your domain will not resolve to host and this is your and your registrar’s fault. Host is not liable for this. You are responsible for all the losses and damages. This issue is also very much clear in our ToS.
  3. Yes, we are terminating this account as it has violated the ToS and ordered pack.

There are many hosts here who are supporting you. Please join them if they can provide same resources, features, services, quality and support at the same price.

Thanks and regards,

May be ridiculous to you, but very clear to us - we are allowing audio and video pre-recorded streaming with streaming packs but the customers have to tell us what format they are uploading and what content they are displaying.

Reagrds.

The page which you have captured have 2 ‘order now’ links with each pack with 2 options each (monthly and yearly) - one below ‘clock’ feature and another below ‘libogg, libvorbis’. You can see ‘streaming’ heading with each pack just above ‘audio:live’ feature.

Also, it is apparent that you do not allow LIVE streaming but you do allow pre-recorded AUDIO and VIDEO to be “streamed.” (See attached screenshot.)

However, it does not make sense since you have the following in the ToS:

I’m not sure why you would advertise that you allow audio and video streaming only make the customer have to ask for permission to use an advertised service. Seems pretty ridiculous to me.

  1. Pre-recorded streaming is allowed if you order ‘streaming’. Live streaming is not allowed at all.

  2. ‘Pre-permission’ condition is to check whether non-streaming customers are following the ToS or not and whether streaming customers are loading pre-recorded or live media.

Regards.

to MyDomAinZ.us,
yah,you havn’t close my account. But you want to close my account just because I upload some flv files??My account should be closed just because I upload some flv files??last time you ask me to change nameservers,I lost one domain, hundreds of hours work, time and money.I’m still very ridiculous why you ask me to change nameservers, why don’t you ask others to change nameservers??then you say it’s my fault.that’s not my fault,it’s yours!!
Who should in charge?Who should pay mine loss?the answer is U.

Actually, your TOS says and I quote:

We Allow Video Streaming sites and even sites that requires FFMPEG to run, BUT you are responsible for the content of the site, no illegal use of copyrighted materials are allowed. Please contact us for more details about sites that requires investigation

http://www.1websiteshostingpromotions.com/tos.htm

There’s nothing in there that would prompt a law abiding user to contact you prior to uploading some flv files, when you clearly state that video streaming sites are allowed.

As far as I can see, all packages (linux) at 1websiteshostingpromotions.com offer some form of streaming.

The OP ordered a non-streaming package and then he uploaded streaming media without proir permission though ToS says that prior permission is required for such files.

Fellow hosts, please suggest - is it not a violation of terms on two accounts?

Thanks and regards.
