As far as why it had to come to an end, we’ve been at this for more than 4 years now and if you keep doing the same thing in the same way without the ability to take it to the next level, you can only do the same thing for so long. The time came where evolution had to happen and, unfortunately, the form of evolution had to be the end of the show.
Thanks,
Patrick

Thank you for the kind words, Paul. I've only just listened to this, wow it was a big one. I have really enjoyed listening to your podcasts; yours was the only web related podcast I listened to every show - the others I pick out episodes depending on whether they sound interesting.
I always thought your podcasts sounded professionally produced and now I have "met" your audio editing guys and heard a little of what they got up to, I know why. It makes a great difference being able to hear all parties clearly. The editing was great - you always got the balance of serious stuff and banter just right.
I didn't know there were any easter eggs! Shucks, I used to hit "NEXT" when I had heard you guys sign off.
One thing you didn't explain, unless I missed it, why are you stopping?
It made my car journeys way more interesting.
So thank you - all of you - who were part of the Sitepoint Podcast. It has genuinely informed and entertained me over the years.
Boy I'm gonna miss Patrick quoting browser figures to 2 decimal places and all the other guys taking the mickey because he hasn't got a smartphone. And yeah, I would have spelt Segraves wrong. ;-)
Cheers

Hi gang

I’ve only just listened to this, wow it was a big one.
