Thanks for the kind words.  Pulling out a mobile device might work in some situations today - I haven&#039;t had a traditional job interview since mobile smartphones have been commonplace, so I&#039;ve never tried it.
Agreed on your agreement - I&#039;m not *against* any of the &quot;latest and greatest&quot; - it&#039;s how progress is made, but I can&#039;t be living on the bleeding edge my whole life. You get a weird look and then I explain that a good developer doesn&#039;t know everything but knows how to find the answer.
I also have to agree that using the latest and greatest framework, technique or what have you, isn&#039;t what makes a great developer.
