Want to make your mark in the web development community and break into tech publishing? We’re looking for a tech editor to join our innovative and friendly product team.

Technical editors act as guardians of the quality of SitePoint products. They need to stay abreast of the latest trends in web design and development and help our authors to produce content that is clear, easy to understand, and technically accurate. Technical editors also help to guide our publishing strategy. It’s a varied role – you might be working on a book about CSS3 one week, and then one on Rails the next. While career experience of web design and development would be very useful, it’s more important that you can demonstrate enthusiasm and a passion for the Web, along with a solid grounding in web technology and programming fundamentals.

If you want to help guide the next generation of web professionals, and you find the prospect of getting paid to tinker with various web technologies exciting, we’d love to hear from you.

Note: The role is based in our HQ in Melbourne.

Hi,

I am a US citizen as well as an Israeli and own a small website and SEO company in Israel. As such I am always looking for new technologies and ways to improve my software platform. I have “web design and development experience” and am fluent in english and hebrew.

I worked as a QA and Implementation manager for many years in AMDOCS, one the largest software companies in Israel.

I would need to understand what exactly you need but it sounds like I may be a good match to your requirements.

Thanks, Diane

I would love the opportunity to work as a tech editor. I have several years experience in that field. Is there any possibility that someone could work remotely? I live in the USA.
