promoting a corporate website before IPO..urgent!!!

Hi friends!

My team manages a Australian website which is going to have an IPO. How can i make sure that it is very easily found on search engines.

things done:
submitted sitemap.xml to all search engines.
submitted at DMoz

Problem:

still dont get the official site when googled by its name in results. IPO is to be launched very soon.

there will be surge in traffic ...i am opting for godaddy dedicated hosting....is it right choice ?...suggest specific alternatives !!


i have seen sposored link for many keywords at google search results....can i buy the company name as keyword for sponsored link ....estimated cost ?!...i need cost effective method(limiting views according to time, location, IP etc) for google adwords coz management want to keep tab on expenses.


what am i missing ....
