Choose a Slogan !

I have four slogans here, and it relates to the web site that is within my signature (just below this message)

I'd ask of you to pick (2) that you like the most:

1. A New Creative Electric Current
2. Creatively Brilliant, Brilliantly Creative
3. Bright Current, electrifying results
4. Illuminating Results

Thank You.

I like both number 2 and 4. They seem to roll off the tongue without being cumbersome.

The only problem with both of these is that they don't really reflect what your business is about.

I think you'd need to make the sheep/lightbulb theme a lot more prominent for an electricity oriented slogan to gel. Perhaps rework your masthead around it (the current bald sheep seem a bit creepy ).

Thank you thus far, I'm going to let this thread continue get some more results in. I advise others to choose what you like, in other words if 2 is most popular but you don't like it, and like another that is fine.

To be honest, none are really doing it for me. What do sheep have to do with a current?

None of your slogans seem to have anything to-do with your website, therefore you shouldn't be using any of them

Which backs up the fact your logo is also way off the mark, what does electricity have to-do with your website or it's business? I am guessing your not a power company or an energy supplier or selling something of a similar capacity... remember that your brand and motto / slogan should ONLY relate to what the website actually does. Using buzzwords that don't relate to the services being offered is a sign of a low quality business.

If it needs to be pointed out, it's not working.

After seeing the site, may I suggest the slogan: "Geocities Lives On"

I didn't say anything about the design as it wasn't a review but I have to agree entirely

It doesn't need to be pointed out. It's just logical if you see a lightbulb it has electricity run though it, does it not ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "Geocities lives on", anyhow a little more feedback on the slogans, thank you to those who have given there input

Maybe it's too avant garde for the rest of us.

I suppose I dislike number 2 the least, but I don't really like any of the options.

For those that don't like any of the ones on the list, I'd like to hear some of your own suggestions.

I don't really get the slogans, or the sheep theme for that matter. If you just have to have a slogan, fine, but unless it's actually helping to sharpen your marketing I wouldn't force one in.

A sheep is not a noble animal, I don't see the analogy with design. A beaver at least is building things. A sheep is mostly known to be guided by dogs and is famous for following other sheeps even when they fall off a mountain cliff. Not really the image you want to give of yourself.

The digital beaver is better in my opinion.

What is the purpose of your site?

Who are you seeking to attract?

Are you aware there's a web design company in the UK named Creative Sheep? Their approach is to focus on showing their work and describing their services. They don't attempt to milk the sheep concept, just allow it to act as a somewhat funky, memorable identifier.

I wouldn't say Sheep follow the herd, they do get herded by dogs but you're mis-understanding in general. I know what direction to take it, and when I take it in that direction IMO it will be quite interesting. All I ask is what slogan you find interesting.

BTW, Digital or Creative Beaver could me you have a hard-on There is a simple reason why it's Creative Sheep.

Care to share that reason? It might assist commentary.

As for the use of sheep, it's all in the skill of execution. There can be, for instance, a wolf in sheep's clothing.

The audience is the sole arbiter of what works. If a majority interpret it to mean something you didn't intend, you may want to rethink execution. Because I can assure you, the audience won't reconsider their interpretation.

If it looks like a sheep, walks as a sheep, and sounds like a sheep ...it's a sheep. With all the baggage that entails, your preferences not withstanding.

2 and 4.. Because I saw your site about creativeness. So I guess 2 and 4 really describe your site

I understand that, but you could judge slogans and names of companies for ever. There are people who don't like names of companies\business that gross in millions a year but they still are successful. All I ask is the slogan, as I mentioned I have a direction that I'm going to take it and it will work once I get to this change and will probably have a harder impact. The main focus is on the slogan
