That was a really good interview, Ara. It's nice to know that John still manages to find some free time (and I'm sure many will be surprised that he manages to find time for it all).

This guy is a genius, he brought new life to JavaScript. I'm not a JQuery expert but I love using it

Reading that makes me wonder how he has any free time

I'm really glad that MS and Nokia are using jQuery - surely the library will grow even stronger now.

Yes, we like JQuery, not only because John is so handsome (wtf?), but it is integrated into the Drupal CMS. Very cool...

This Sizzle looks interesting. You can see that John has working on this pretty regularly (21 hours ago at the time of this post). This might be something that would be good get involved with now.

Good interview

I have only been using jQuery for a week or 2 now, and I like it so much better then normal JavaScript. Also good to hear that both Nokia and MS will be using jQuery in their platforms!

In a related note...

JavaScript Will Save Us All

I would not be surprised to eventually see native browser support for something very much like jQuery syntax - even in non Mozilla browsers. It's like we may finally have the glue and the elegant expressions we need to keep evolving the web and web apps. With MS bundling jQuery with VS it would not be much of stretch to just move the support to the browser rather than requiring the overhead of downloading a library.

IMO this is where I see JS moving...

John Resig’s role at the Mozilla Corporation is JavaScript Evangelist. I challenge you to invent a cooler title!
Back in the dotcom boom days, when I worked for a company that let me pick my own title, I was the company's "Programmer Laureate".

These days on my business cards I alternate between "Gentleman Programmer" and "Simple Country Programmer"

Great interview, I use your library ALOT for my clients. I'm working on some Iphone Site Designs right now that will use Jquery for the navigation since it has such a small footprint.

Thank you for your work!
