Help with career/education choice
Hey guys,
I'm in a bit of a pickle, I recently finished my final year of schooling (I failed :P) and I am looking to go to further study. The two courses I have chosen are: 1.)Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (Network Security/Administration) 2.) Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (Website Developement) I have to pick one of the two but I'm not sure which one to pick because of the career I might end up with. If I choose #1 I'd probably be able to get a job looking after the computers at a school, business, etc but I'm not really that excited about it. With #2 I enjoy making websites, programming in PHP (not that good with photoshop) but yeah, I enjoy doing this. The only problem is I don't know if I will be able to get a well paying job with a company to do this, it'd be hard to find a job in my area for a web developer/designer. I know I can work online for a company but I'd prefer to actually be in an office etc. So I think I'd probably get paid more with #1. I can't decide, I need the opinion of other people. Can someone please help me out with this mess? Thanks in advance. ![]() |
