Buying webtraffic

Hi guys,

have any of you ever used the "buy web traffic for your site" websites?
I am not talking about untargetted traffic, but can any of you recommend a site which can send traffic relevant to your site to it?

Or am i best staying well clear of these kind of deals?

Stay away.

The only places I suggest you purchase traffic from is google adwords, overture, or websites selling advertising space that targets your demographic of visitors/members

If you really want to try, ask them to give some samples of web sites that already gained the traffic. And contact these sites (site owners) asking about the experience.

Better 10-15 different sites. I don't think that 10-15 different site owners will be in the circle of cheaters.

What kind of website do you have? I could possibly have the thing you're looking for.

I agree with activeweb. If you do a search in this forum on buying traffic, I don't believe you'll see many posts from satisfied traffic buyers.

Yep, most of the paid traffic program are just waste of time, they dont bring the real visitors, Adword is much better in place, IMO.

Thanks everyone, I currently have adwords setup and just wanted to get as much advertising as possible on the go! I've read alot into ways to increase traffic and see so much of this "Buy Traffic" advertised, I tried a little for £20 (worth a try) and not seen a visitor from the 25,000 promised, so will avoid that one. lol

What else is best to promote your site, i run a free online competition.
I run adwords of approx £300 a month and would be looking to spend similar maybe more monthly on something else

Thanks

Have you tried other PPC search engine advertising? Yahoo!/Overture has a great program that shouldn't be overlooked. Searchfeed and 7Search are pretty good also.

I agree, Searchfeed and 7search are also worth a try. Don't forget to check out adengage.com

Don't spend any more than you'd be ready to lose outright or you can't afford to lose. Play safe.

I have tried the "targeted traffic" you were referring to, and I can tell you it's mostly junk traffic (popups and popunders). I would not waste my time and money on these companies.

I run Searchfeed and GoClick..can't really tell they are doing anything. Yahoo!, Google and MSN are the only ones worthwhile.

Actually some time you may come across to a tricky situation, especially for Adword you should know which keywords attract the best prospects, Google analytic is much helpful to track success of both organic and PPC search result of your site.

I wouldn't be so categorical. Yes, popups and popunders are junk, but there are targeted traffic offers worth while.

I've tried targeted traffic, and I'm still using it as I find it very helpful. You have to know what to look for.

I run a targeted traffic website, and I do the best I can to make sure my customers are getting the best traffic possible. There's a lot of junk out there like i-web-marketing that will try to sell you bot traffic.

As suggested, if you want real, targeted traffic that will provide the best ROI given your web site is quality, has a competitive edge, etc stick with PPC.
