Chitika Audited Revenue

How much did you get cut from your unaudited revenue? I got ~30% cut.

That's considered good, mine got cut by 61%, I'm gonna say goodbye to chitika after this month and the sad thing is that 99% of the traffic I send is US. Are we still getting that 10% bonus?

Yikes, I hope that isn't the case with my site, I won't know until the next pay period since I just started, I hope I'm not wasting my time having their ads on my sites.

I'd say if you have a high traffic site just replace the Chitika ads with CPM (Tribal, Burst, etc.)

Wow...that didn't last long. These auditing cuts seem quite subjective.

My cut was around 75% (final eCPM is now $0.12)
Have been promoting then alot.

Guess it's time to find something else.

A suggestion to Chitika:
Setup a default system for non-us traffic !
Audith the clicks daily (when you update) !

I was going to accept a 20% cut, but not anything like 75%
Maby it will be better when I start to use the default system.

I signed up and then waited to see what happens with the auditing before putting ads on my sites.
It turns out it was a good decision not to run them before things were clear.
I guess I will not even consider them anymore...

Lost like 70%, however I'm not sure when I started to geotarget. If it was before or after the days that got audited. Nonetheless, I pulled their ads and I'm gona use adsense again. I will consider using them if next months audit turns out good.

It would be interesting to see this thread with a poll of who is dropping them and who is not. Seems like the audit has ticked off a few people.

What the hell is the "cut' for?
Is that something their cost management accountants came up with? A brilliant idea to cut advertising costs by 50%!

They should just not display your ads when they pick up the ip of a country they don't wish to cater ads to (and put the next tier ad in place).

The audit is to filter out fraudulent and invalid clicks.

Ahw I just read they implemented a default to fall back to, well just in time lol they were going to loose many publishers over this thread, it's still very bad for their reputation though, they went down a notch in my book.

Think it'll be more like the audit is to remove clicks that didn't result in a sale or lead. They mainly use CPA stuff like cj.com and shopping.com so that would make sense.
