Google Backlink update 7/16/04

Not sure if anyone has noticed yet, but Goog is now in the process of updating backlinks!

hehe..hmm i guess I should launch my domain soon...googleupdates.com

They've basically eliminated any usefulness in backlinks. They seem to only be showing links less than PR4 plus a few more. No pagerank changes so this may be some huge foul up.

i'm seeing a PR update using digital point's tool, but nothing in my toolbar yet.

What tool is this? I'm seeing loads of back link updates as well, but no PR movement.

Could it be that the backlinks it's now showing ARE PR4+, only the toolbar doesn't reflect that yet? In other words all of those pages from my sites that are shown linking to other sites actually have a higher PR than the toolbar is currently displaying?

I'm currently unable to look at my new backlinks, as for some reason it's showing the old one again.. but as I remember it, most of them were from my forum, where they had PR 0's before. The main page has a PR5, I'd be mightly surprised if each individual topic were to have PR4+ Mind you, SPF topics have always shown up, and they have a PR of 2-3... strange.

Some changes in PR iof one of my site, I think most of the changes are temporary and will take few days to see end results....

google has gone a little crazy, changing pr sites to pr 0, but it should be a temporary thing..

Hmm, my backlinks jumped from 12-62. Of course, the real indications are how your rankings do and mine haven't changed much.
