I don't see how is WLS different than existing system. There will be a landrush period that will resemble todays games related to dropped names. At the end, customer has no more guarantee to get slot in WLS than it has guarantee to get dropped name. The only difference is that with WLS, you pay subscription for something you may never get. So, Verisign will get richer, but how's that helping rest of us?

there might be a little advantage in some very special situations. If your great domain is banned, you can first get all wls slots, and drop your domain; and own it back.
