Illustrator Help

How do I make sure that my PDF (created from Illustrator) stops at the artboard edges.

For some reason, there is an extra inch of white space at the bottom of my landscape A4 pdf created out of an EPS from Illustrator.

I have made sure that all my clipping masks are contained and my images underneath do not stray beyond the artboard edge.

Please help!
