I need help putting flash objects on my site, and i was wondering if any of you know a bit about uploading swf files your site and making it work.
See heres my webpage www.angelfire.com/az3/docclan and if you notice that white bar below the banner, yep thats suppost to be a flash navigation bar, but it only shows up on my computer, not other peoples'. i have told the source of the file to be in the site folder in the site manager tool, that angelfire has... and i have clearified what version of flash player to use. but it still doesnt show up on peoples computer, i dont get, and ive run out of ideas. heres how i have it, can any one see if im doing something wrong or anything that would help me.... ------------------------------------------------------- <object classid="clsid: D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.#version=6,0,23,0" height="17" width="1021"> <param name="movie" value="az3/docclan/images/navbr.swf"> <param name="quality" value="High"> <param name="play" value="-1"> <param name="_cx" value="27014"> <param name="_cy" value="450"> <param name="FlashVars" value="-1"> <param name="Src" value="az3/docclan/images/navbr.swf"> <param name="WMode" value="Window"> <param name="Loop" value="-1"> <param name="SAlign" value> <param name="Menu" value="-1"> <param name="Base" value> <param name="Scale" value="ShowAll"> <param name="DeviceFont" value="0"> <param name="EmbedMovie" value="0"> <param name="BGColor" value> <param name="SWRemote" value> <embed height="17" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" src="../../az3/docclan/images/navbr.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="1021" quality="best" play="true"></object> Last edited by cblack; Apr 23, 2002 at 21:46. |

Yes I know i found out my problem like 5 min after i posted this, makes me feel dumb...
it was so simple too, if you look at the source, it says -az3/docclan/images/navbr.swf-, well i discovered that it had to be -/az3/docclan/images/navbr.swf-, the forward slash had to be added to it at the front of the source. |
