IE Peekaboo strikes again
I've been going through the HTML Utopia (2nd ed.) book by Andrew and Shafer (great book, btw). In working through the example in chapters 8-9, I've made a few modifications to the CSS to fit my needs. I think I did my best to preserve the "peekaboo" workarounds, but it seems as though my page is still afflicted with that particular IE bug.
Address: http://library.umassmed.edu/~rvanderh/newsite2/ The problem occurs in the center content div, where the bottom links are peekaboo-ing. Can anyone see from the page source what I'm missing? |

Yes, the Footbag Freaks example.
It looks like * html #content {height:1%;} works (although the peekaboo bug seems to be pretty sneaky so I'll have to keep my eyes open). The only consequence is that there's now a space between the vertical borders between the divs, but I can probably live with that. I wonder why that code wasn't included in the example in the book? Thanks! |
