Sliding a Div in from the left rather than from the top

Hi

I would like to use the effect found here, but rather than have the Div slide down, I would like to position the clickable heading 300px from the left of the page and have the div slide from left to right.

Is this possible? I have seen a few menu scripts (this will not be a menu, just styled Div with a heading and a list in it) that slide in from the very left edge of the page, but I want mine to be mid way along the page.

It is imprtant to me that the script degrades well for non Javascript enabled browsers, again I have seen a couple of scripts that may work, but they were old (1997) scripts that don't work if JavaScript is off.
