Red face Help with movie clips

Hi,

I am currently experimenting with movie clips.

I want to build a flower with a bud and individual petals.

The goal is to be able to have one bud (movie clip) and then
be able to drag petals (movie clip instances) and place them
around the bud of the flower.

My questions:

With Flash is it possible to attach the petal to the bud, so that when the petalis dragged to the bud (on(release), it forms a relationship that then allows me to drag the entire flower and petals? How?

And

Can i somehow create a relationship between the bud and the petal
that allows the petal to auto-rotate, depending on where on the bud
i place the petal.

So if my bud is a circle, and the petal is at 0 degrees, as i drag it around the circle to 90 degrees, the petal (movie clip) could auto-rotate to adjust itself
to that new location? or is there a way that i could manually rotate the petal
on the screen with my mouse or some other command?

Finally, once a user builds a flower by placing the petals around the bud, is there a way to save the location of each petal for future reference?

Any help to ocercome these challanges would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
