please review Kohli-Bingo-game-play.com

Hey, check out my latest and greatest site: Kohli-Bingo-game-play.com

Its a website written by Navtej (Tej) Kohli and I think it is pretty slick.

First, I like the colors, oftentimes there are too many blue & white sites (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Next, I think the border around your main content box is a little thick, maybe that's personal preference, but I would make it a little narrower

The layout seems nice enough, although the purists would say you can definately do this all wit css, not tables

One more thing, are there categories of bingo? For someone like me who doesn't really play bingo, the list on the right seems long, and I wouldn't know where to start....

I never realized how many different options bingo had!

Hi -
You've mentioned 3 major categories for patterns:
"These groups are (1) Traditional and Special Patterns; (2) Letter and Number Patterns; and (3) The Cluster Groups."

Why not help break up that endless list on the left by dividing them into those 3 sections w/ a few examples and a "more>..." link to go to a page in which the content begins for it and that leftbar has only links for that section, the 3 categories & any relevant site links.

Also, consider adding styles to the links to get rid of the generic / default colors - the header is so obviously carefully worked that the links just aren't interesting. [But the outline on the header text is a bit thick for readability.] Perhaps incorporate the colors used in your graphic for the links...

Fun idea for Bingo Lovers,
El

A footer is needed. At the bottom of the page you are just kind of droped off.

i find the site a bit boring, there was too much on the navigation. As said above it would be good to split them up into catergories, as people would get bored very easily.

I found there was also alot of information to take on so it could possibly be summarised.

I found the illustrations helped explained the point quite a bit and therefore you dont need as much information.

The site could also do with a footer to match the header as it looks like the site was unfinished.

Overall mark: 6/10

I agree the site could definately use a matching footer... possibly also a seperation between the top image and the bottom text information. I also think you could do a lot for the menu. Maybe if you went to http://www.hotscripts.com and found a free tree menu script to save some space or seperated it into submenus for seperate pages. Even a regular drop down menu with an optional horizontal regular text menu near your footer might be a good idea. http://www.searchbliss.com/webmaster_tools/drop-down-menu.htm is an online script that creates great colorful drop down menus for you. It probably wouldn't hurt to visit http://www.csscreator.com either to create yourself some time saving tags. I hope I helped you out some and I can't wait to see an updated version of your site.
