Are there still aby decent banner exchange networks left?
Remember, once upon a time there used to be linkexchange?... Are there still any effective networks that would have a link or a banner exchange?

I haven't heard of any in quite some time. I think that method of promotion has effectively gone away.

so, there is like, nothing? i know of worldbe.com, but that kinda sucks. That's too bad, because conceivably, it could be a good way to get *actual* traffic - visitors that actually click on your banner and without hard currency investment.

Yes, but all the good sites are probably using ad networks that pay money.

Ad networks (that you pay to advertise on) filter out the bad sites and usually take only the good sites. They also audit very thoroughly to ensure they aren't losing money needlessly. I don't think you have that in banner exchanges. There's cheating to deal with. The sites that use them typically are poor choices for banner exchanges. Even if you manage to make a good, highly clickable banner (which is becoming harder and harder to make) it still won't ensure traffic. Because of those reasons I think traffic potential for banner exchanges are long gone.

I think you can find some decent ones for specific niche sites. If you're lucky you come across a webmaster that actually takes the time to monitor their exchange net. I use one for my goldfish site and it's working just fine.

I use www.adbunker.com and www.adblox.com . I can honestly say that they have really help my business get exposure. I also have to say its nice to beable to actually talk with a person who is devoted to their business and really cares about what they provide. So I have to give them 2
