Contract Conflict! Now What?

Apparently, this isn't the SitePoint Forum, but the SpearPoint forum where posters are harpooned for asking honest questions.

I came here genuinely seeking help, not insult and attack.

Dave, we're a small company, yes. But we don't outsource overseas and pretend to be bigger than we really are. And we fight harder to protect our clients, and serve them with more passion and sincerity, than any company I've ever encountered.

Shadowbox, our contract verbiage was never intended to be self-serving. If we've made an error, it was an honest one. Every major design firm I've worked with has charged extra for design copyright. Perhaps you swim in different circles. And as for discounted fees... good grief. You have no idea what fees we charge, or what kind of discounts we offer.

Anyway, gentlemen, thanks so much for your thoughtful, unbiased, informed counsel. Glad to know it's safe to come here with honest questions.
