My one year anniversary!

This month it has been one year since I decided to try building my own revenue generating sites. It's been quite a bit of work, especially the first few months. I haven't been working on them continously though. There were times I did nothing with them for a couple months because I was too busy with client projects and too tired to stay up all night. I don't even want to know how many hours I worked. I haven't counted how many sites I have but it is over 30 now. The hardest part is getting yourself to work on a bunch of sites that are making nothing. Once at least some of them are making some money it gets easier to be motivated.

I certainly can't retire yet on my sites, but I could buy a new BMW if I wanted to. I took my family to Cancun last week to celebrate.

Congratulations Leo......

I always wonder how most of the top webmasters at this forum have more than 20 sites that they manage, by looking at their signatures. And I convince myself saying that they must be working full time on these sites. But in your case, it looks like you spend part time on your sites as you also have clients. Hoe do you manage so many sites. Is it due to the automation, that the contents gets updated on its own......

Once again congratulations.....

Kudos and thanks for sharing that. I love hearing this type of success story and it can be very motivating to other affiliates who are at various stages of growth in their business.

In fact I blogged about how to stay motivated today and linked to this post and another from the UK affiliate marketing forum.

Thanks for all the congrats. I have along way to go though and feel way behind some that started years ago.

Most sites require little or no maintenence. I can update or add to them when I get to it. A few sites need monthly or weekly updates at least.

Congrats. I am in the same boat, only about a little less than a year ago for you!

It is insane how fast my traffic is growing. I did get a website up a few years ago but growth was slow (and SE indexing even slower). This time around, things are growing at a pace that is interesting to say the least.

I want to find a good "wrap-up" point for my new website so I can move on to 2-3 others that I want to work on.

Keep it up and to others: just do it.

Congratulations. I'm certainly curious to know whether you're information sites are as lucrative to you as your shopping sites.
