    condition set with a button

    I'm trying to make a specific movieclip replay whenever the trigger (button) is clicked.

    Right now all it does is play the movieclip but it doesn't replay until it's finished, just because it's being called gotoAndPlay(target); which goes to the spot but doesn't replay the clip...

    to get around this so that it does play the clip from the start everytime the button is pressed I wanted to say

    on(press)
    {
    frame = 4;
    gotoAndStop(10);
    }
    frame = 3;

    kinda like an if statement but flash HATES this, as I just discovered.

    basically I was going to send it to a frame which controlled frames (not even sure if it will work?!) but just so it would move away from the current frame and then get sent straight back, but if the buttons not pressed I need it to go back to frame 3 to continue a loop.

    anyone know a way of doing this?

    yikes... ok I admit I'm an idiot

    just had to get ride of the stuff outside of the {} and put that code at the end of the set of movieclips (I know what I mean )
