corel or adobe?
I need to purchase some graphics/print software for use in the logo design business. I would like to hear your opinions which software do find to be better adobe illustrator 10 or coreldraw 11? Please feel free to state any pros and cons you have personally experienced or any other factors that have influenced your descision.

i prefer adobe illustrator because it is more of an industry standards, and most repro houses and printers will gladly accept its file format. however, you could just as well save everything to postscript PS or encapsulated postscript EPS and your printers won't care what application the artwork was created in.
so...go for what you can afford and what you feel most comfortable with. it would be a good idea to download demo versions of both, having a play around with them, and seeing which one you like best.re·dux (adj.): brought back; returned. used postpositively
