    One size won't fit all

I have just finished my first website, designed on Front Page. It is built on tables and no matter what I do, some visitors cannot see the far right hand column of the table without scrolling. The table width is fixed at 800 pxls. I'm still learning (no HTML knowledge as yet) so please be gentle with me on technical replies. Thanks in anticipation.

If you specify a 'table' width to be greater then the browser window then it won't fit on the page, thus the browser will add scrollbars to compensate, either use percentages or make the table less wide.

It's OK to set some widths in pixels but always leave at least one cell with an unspecified width to expand and contract as needed to fit any screen size.
