    Joomla website restoration

    I have a website made in joomla. The problem is that the site was hit by some virus / malicious code. There are too many files in joomla and its very difficult to remove the harmful code from all the pages. I have got a backup of this site using akeeba backup. The backup file is .jpa format. I have decided to format everything in the website and load the backup file to restore my website. But i am having problem in doing so as i am not too much experienced with joomla. What steps do i need to follow to re launch my joomla website.

    Hello mate, It's actually a very easy task to restore Joomla website from JPA backup file. First of all, you will need to download Akeeba a kickstart script and then need to run this script to restore backup.
